How did you get into photography?
I used to make YouTube videos when I was around 14 years old on my iPhone 5C and for my birthday one year, I got my first ever DSLR, a Nikon D3300! I started using this to film my videos but never really got into photography until I was about 16 and had stopped making YouTube videos. I watched lots of tutorials on YouTube and taught myself the very basics! I loved the creative freedom it gave me and over time, found it to be a great way of self-expression!
What camera do you use?
Currently I am using the Nikon D850! I have also recently bought my first film camera which is the Nikon EM and I've been loving it! I've mostly been using Kodak Gold 200 film as I am a sucker for warm tones, but would love to experiment with different types and see how they all come out.
Why do you take photos?
Photography for me has always been a way to escape reality and a way to express how I feel in certain points in my life. I always like to take photos that are relaxing to look at and allow me to feel exactly how I was feeling in those moments. I also love documenting my life in photos that tell rather than show.
